  As much as I wish I hadn't had to use this particular company (because obviously I'd have preferred my little dog, Benji, live forever) I am glad I did. I had Benji for almost 7 years and he was a fantastic companion who helped me cope with and get through some of the darkest times in my life, and when he died I was absolutely devastated.
  
  But I'm very glad that having him cremated was an option. When I took him into Ponderosa, Russell was very sympathetic and understanding, and I could tell he is an animal lover himself. I knew that my little Benji was in very good hands. I got his ashes back today in a lovely little urn and as sad as it was, it felt like closure.
  
  All in all, if you're looking to have a pet cremated, I highly recommend Ponderosa. And if you have to use their services, I am very sorry for your loss.

  Russell is awesome! Highly recommend cremation. The ashes remain so that loved ones can hold on to part of the beloved that is gone or take them on adventures and scatter the ashes.
